From traditional pies in Barnstaple to vegan burgers in Brighton, from cycle tours around Edinburgh to kayaking in Wales, there are countless ways to enjoy a great staycation this summer.
With so many Brits opting for a staycation instead of a trip abroad this year, a few weeks ago we teamed up with our partners Starling Bank to highlight some of the businesses in our community that can’t wait to welcome you on your travels.
Thinking outside the box, we also looked a bit further afield for great ways to enjoy a staycation, from charity challenges to local produce services to make the most of your trip.
Local e Sourced, Herefordshire
Local e Sourced’s service would be the ideal way to enjoy a staycation. Pre-ordering all the food, drink and gifts to be delivered to your venue just in time for your arrival to be enjoyed throughout the entirety of your visit.
Local e Sourced was due to launch later this year, but lockdown restrictions forced the team to bring it forward to help support local businesses create an online service and provide a lifeline to those who would’ve likely collapsed with it.
If any top-ups are required while you are still on vacation, the 48hour delivery window will be ideal to have the freshest products delivered anywhere in the UK. You can enjoy a break with all of the treats from home without having to take them all with you! A new way of enjoying a takeaway on your break away!
