Personal branding expert & entrepreneur pivots success metrics to strengthen business during COVID-19

I’ve been talking to a number of entrepreneurs recently about how they have pivoted or adopted a ‘plan b’ during these challenging times.

This is my chat with Joe Binder, founder of WAOW.

Joe talks to me about the mindset shift he adopted during COVID-19. He knew that because of the current situation he would lose clients either temporarily or permanently. Joe therefore decided to shift his metrics for success, starting conversations now that might turn into business in 10 months or so.

In doing so, he focussed his time and effort on his own personal branding including writing more contributor content. This has seen Joe receive more incoming enquiries from businesses who have fared reasonably well during this time and he now finds himself in a place where revenues have evened out.

At the Great British Entrepreneur Awards & Community we have launched a new category to recognise brilliant entrepreneurs like Joe who have adapted during this crisis. If you know an entrepreneur who has pivoted, send them here.

The Great British Entrepreneur Awards & community is proud to be supported by Funding Options on this initiative.
