University College Birmingham Business School has been named as the Great British & Northern Irish Entrepreneur Awards’ education partner for the Midlands.
The Business School runs a broad range of popular business and marketing degree courses, all accredited by the University of Birmingham. Teaching, group work and individual study, including “live” projects, emphasises the application of academic theory to real-life industry challenges and encourages entrepreneurial approaches.
University College Birmingham Business School joins the Great British & Northern Irish Entrepreneur Awards as it embarks on its sixth year, acknowledging and celebrating the hard work and inspiring stories of British entrepreneurs and businesses in Great Britain.
The Awards have celebrated some outstanding entrepreneurs who have gone on to become household names, including: Julie Deane OBE of Cambridge Satchel Company, James Watt of BrewDog, Shaun Pulfrey of Tangle Teezer, and Hannah & Sophie Pycroft of Spectrum Collections.
With continued support, the 2018 programme will see the awards held in five cities – Birmingham, Cardiff, Edinburgh, London and Manchester.
