Exciting changes for GBEA!

We’ve been open for entries for two weeks and it’s fair to say we’ve been overwhelmed with the quantity and quality of applications we’ve already received!

2018 was an incredible year for the NatWest Great British Entrepreneur Awards. Not only did we receive a record number of applications (over 3,000!), but our community began to flourish and we started to become what we’ve been striving for it to be; a connected and supportive community of entrepreneurs from across the UK.

Not just an awards ceremony, our programme has become a vehicle on a mission to unite great business minds, facilitate knowledge exchange and even be the platform that connects entrepreneurs to do deals with one another.

By entering the Awards, not only do you get a chance to celebrate your businesses successes and give yourself well deserved recognition, finalists will automatically secure their place within the UK’s most supportive community of entrepreneurial talent.

Now in year seven, we’re very excited to announce that we’re making some big changes to the NatWest Great British Entrepreneur Awards programme for 2019!

We’re expanding!

New regions:

After two fantastic years visiting Birmingham, Cardiff, Edinburgh, London and Manchester, we realise that some corners of the UK didn’t necessarily feel represented, so we’re now taking the Awards to Exeter to represent the South West, Newcastle for the North East, and Belfast for Northern Ireland – we’re also going to be moving from Edinburgh to Glasgow in 2019 for the Scotland region.

Adding three more regional finals means that we get to celebrate even more entrepreneurs across the UK, lower any barriers to entry and of course get to visit some fantastic cities where entrepreneurship is flourishing.

Further exciting news & updates to follow, watch this space!
