The NatWest Great British Entrepreneur Awards are delighted to announce a national partnership with Equifax.
With one of the largest sources of detailed consumer and business data in the UK, Equifax can provide insight into the behaviours and drivers behind the economy helping entrepreneurs to drive their businesses forward.
The mantra of the NatWest Great British Entrepreneur Awards is that entrepreneurs are as much about their story as they are about their balance sheet, but for businesses to survive and thrive, it is critical that entrepreneurs are able to make sense of their data. With Equifax, organisations gain insight into the intricate connections they’re able to make which help businesses to make informed decisions that drive performance. Equifax also helps organisations to protect against fraud and comply with regulation.
Francesca James, founder of the NatWest Great British Entrepreneur Awards, said: “We’re excited to announce and launch this partnership. Equifax understand that entrepreneurs are a key component of the UK economy and that it’s essential for them to receive the support and opportunities needed to thrive and scale.
“2018 was a record-breaking year for the NatWest Great British Entrepreneur Awards. Aside from receiving close to 3,000 entries, this year has been pivotal in developing and accelerating what we do into far more than just an awards programme, but developing into a connected eco-system of entrepreneurs, mentors and supporters. I’m continually surprised and delighted by the stories our finalists tell me about doing business, securing investment or support as a direct result of being involved with the NatWest Great British Entrepreneur Awards. Working with partners and sponsors like Equifax, committed to supporting entrepreneurship is another step forward in allowing us to do more of that.”
Robert McKechnie, head of product, banking and FI at Equifax, said: “Entrepreneurs are a crucial component of the UK economy. It’s essential for them to receive the help and opportunities needed to thrive and grow – this is an important part of our approach to supporting UK businesses. In our relationship with NatWest, we’ve seen first-hand how it supports entrepreneurs and we’re thrilled to partner with them to combine our capabilities in this space. We look forward to working with them to deliver a bespoke partnership which is aligned with their five key pillars of entrepreneur strategy.”
