Team GBEA were thrilled to be invited to MINI Plant Oxford last week to see our 2018 Creative Industries winner’s take delivery of their branded Countryman!
Representatives from Ham, Quick Block and Plimsoll Productions arrived filled with excitement to take home their vehicles, with each winner getting use of a branded MINI Countryman for three months, courtesy of our Premium Partner MINI.
Our 2018 National Creative Industries Entrepreneur of the Year, Jo Ham of Ham, was lucky enough to receive a full livery wrap on her Countryman (p.s. it looks amazing!).
In addition to collecting the vehicles we were all also treated to a tour of the Plant Oxford factory, which has been home to the iconic brand for over 100 years.
Plant Oxford is the birthplace and heart of MINI production – with each vehicle manufactured to individual customer specifications, meaning there are hundreds of MINIs leaving the plant’s assembly lines each day, off to meet new owners in more than 110 countries around the world!
Daniel Leigh, National Corporate Sales Manager at MINI, said: “If you are running a small business, marketing can be very expensive, so having a branded vehicle will be an invaluable exercise for these entrepreneurs – especially with the MINI brand, which is a fantastic and eye-catching vehicle to see and a little bit different to the norm.”
“Entrepreneurship is an important part of British culture, with the biggest companies, particularly brands like MINI, starting with that one individual who had an entrepreneurial mindset, so it is very important for us to support these entrepreneurs.”
