Jordan Daykin, 22, is a serial entrepreneur with a proven track record of identifying business opportunities and capitalising on them since the age of 12.
As founder and CEO of Melksham-based GripIt Fixings, Jordan runs a £20m business that exports to over 34 countries worldwide. In 2017 Jordan grew staff numbers from 5 to 47 and increased revenues by 350%.
In doing so, Jordan has won the trust of over 5,000 UK stores (including Wickes, Screwfix, Currys, Maplin, B&Q, Homebase and Argos) and 15,000 stores across Australia, New Zealand and the USA.
This achievement makes him the most successful Dragons’ Den entrepreneur in history – following his appearance at the age of 18 when he secured £80,000 from Deborah Meaden.
Jordan takes a savvy financial approach to business and has conducted numerous fundraising rounds for GripIt Fixings, including a £2million crowdfunding campaign which raised £2.14m in just five days.
In January 2017 Jordan announced his acquisition of automotive industry heavyweight VPS Group Ltd for £5m, with plans to capitalise on the booming number plate manufacturing market.
Jordan regularly appears in the mainstream media and frequently speaks and business events across the country to share his story and inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs.
